Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) attended the Plenary Cabinet Session chaired by the President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Joko Widodo at the Garuda Palace, Capital of the Archipelago ( IKN), (13/08/2024).

At the inaugural session which took place at IKN, the President of the Republic of Indonesia conveyed the background to the relocation of the capital city, not only physically, but also mindset, work patterns and mobility.

“How can the targets achieved by today’s government be completed well and at the same time we prepare a baseline to be carried forward in the next government.

“Of course there are good things, everything that has been achieved so far can be continued while we continue to prepare policies that can further advance our country,” said Minister AHY.

He also hopes that the activities taking place at IKN since Sunday (11/08/2024) can become history in order to welcome Independence Day.

“So in general the meeting went well, smoothly, and everyone could feel the warmth and joy we are facing towards August 17.

Hopefully this will be a historic moment and bring a special spirit to the Indonesian people,” said Minister AHY.

The Plenary Cabinet Session was also attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin; Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN as well as Plt.
