The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) received the Partner Award Charter for Accelerating Land Certification on Nusakambangan Island.

The Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Suyus Windayana, who was present representing the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (ATR/BPN).

Received the award at the 79th Protection Day Ceremony in 2024 at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (HAM) Field, Jakarta, Monday (08/19/2024).

The award was presented by the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna H. Laoly because the Ministry of ATR/BPN has supported the acceleration of asset certification of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on Nusakambangan Island.

Along with this, the Secretary General of the Ministry of ATR/BPN handed over 35 Certificates of Land Use Rights for Nusakambangan Island covering an area of ​​75,040,780 square meters from a total land area of ​​120,568,000 square meters.

“We are handing over around 75 million square meters of land on Nusakambangan Island.

We have certified around 62% of this, so we hope that the rest that is still under community control will be completed soon,” said Suyus Windayana after attending the ceremony.

He explained that all the certificates handed over for Nusakambangan Island on this occasion were in the form of Electronic Land Certificates.

On this Patronage Day, the Secretary General of the Ministry of ATR/BPN together with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Andap Budhi Revianto also signed a Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the Ministry of ATR/BPN regarding the Facilitation of Land Services within the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

The goal is for the Ministry of ATR/BPN to assist in the process of land asset certification and the resolution of land disputes from assets of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

“This is the second Cooperation Agreement. The first one we cooperated on was related to data sharing, especially related to legal entity data.

Then, this time we cooperate on certification for all assets, both those that are clear and problematic,” concluded Suyus Windayana.

Also accompanying the Secretary General of the Ministry of ATR/BPN in this activity were the Head of the Planning and Cooperation Bureau, Dony Erwan and the Head of the Public Relations Bureau, Harison Mocodompis.
